Qualifications and Memberships:

Aanchal completed Bachelors of Arts Honours in Psychology, Masters of Science (M.Sc) Mental Health Studies (Majors: psychopharmacology and psychological therapies) at Kings College London and Masters of Science (M.Sc) Psychology at University of Essex (England). Aanchal is a Member of Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).


Aanchal has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and those from culturally and linguistically different backgrounds. She has worked in a variety of settings including education settings, community mental health, psychiatric ward and private medical centres. She continues to work with adolescents and adults through an employment provider for the Department of Employment and DHS.


Aanchal can fluently speak and deliver psychological interventions in Hindi and Punjabi.

She uses a client centred approach and works using a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution- focused approach, Schema therapy, Mindfulness, Gottman method Couples therapy. She is dedicated to work alongside clients using the psychological modality that best suits client’s needs in order to discover the best outcome for the client.
