Bridgette Benson, B.A. Psych (Hon) is a Psychologist with extensive experience in marriage counselling and relationship counselling.
Bridgette has a Masters Degree in Couples and Family Therapy. Bridgette has a special interest in assisting clients in Melbourne and regional Victoria to resolve relationship problems, working with both couples and individuals.
Bridgette also specialises in areas of Depression Counselling, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, as well as relationship counselling and marriage counselling.
Bridgette also has a strong interest in the psychological contributors of weight gain and overweight, and in working with individuals to achieve optimal health through overcoming their challenges of weight loss and obesity.

Bridgette’s approach is respectful and client focused. She utilizes a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches, eg. cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness, assertiveness training, motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
