Joy is a registered (General) Psychologist with the Australian Psychologists Registration Board, a member of the Australian Psychology Society, and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society Colleges of Health Psychologists and Community Psychologists.

Joy has over 15 years experience in health psychology and community health promotion, in the public and private sector, and has worked with a range of different people including youth, young mothers, and women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
