Melissa has had experience providing therapy to a range of individuals in a private practice setting. She has also had experience counselling adults in the Adult Community Mental Health Services division of the Department of Human Services.

Melissa utilises a range of evidence based techniques to facilitate a positive wellbeing such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Melissa strives to provide a safe, honest, and comfortable therapeutic experience. She places much emphasis on equipping individuals with flexible coping skills and problem solving abilities, so that they may autonomously manage current problems and also problems that may arise in the future. Melissa ensures that her treatment approach is individually tailored to the specific personality and presenting issues.
