Associate Diploma Arts (Welfare)

Experience:

Robyn has over 25 years experience in the community social welfare sector. She has worked extensively in the child welfare, community corrections, disability and education sectors throughout Gippsland.

Robyn took a few years out along the way to operate a sawmill and heavy machinery, developing valuable experience in this industry.

Types of Treatment Modalities Used:

Robyn adopts a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches drawing on a number of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. Strength based models are also utilised.

Robyn also provide play therapy for children and supports parents using a filial therapy model to build richer relationships between children and their parents and significant others such as grandparents
