Ruth has worked with individuals in private practice, Occupational Rehabilitation, Job Services Australia, Employee Assistance Program, Centrelink’s Job Capacity Account and through the Aged Access Initiative. Ruth has worked with a variety of clients including older adolescents, adults, couples and older adults.

She draws from a number of evidence based psychological practices in her counselling approach, in particular Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy.
Ruth is extremely client focussed in her work and considers how different approaches will improve the individual’s situation and overall well- being. By working collaboratively as a team with her clients, Ruth’s aim is to help people achieve the goals identified during therapy and enhance the meaning and value in their lives.
