Dominik is a registered Psychologist who is caring, patient, and committed to providing the best care for his clients. He believes that the relationship between a client and therapist is paramount to healing and is committed to this process. Dominik adopts a person-centred approach and strives to create a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment.
Dominik has experience working in a school, private practice, and a community clinic that involved primarily working with young adults to elderly. A key strength of Dominik is his patience and understanding of the changes a client must make, as he acknowledges that change can often be slow, difficult and involves setbacks.
Dominik is primarily a CBT oriented therapist but utilises various approaches to meet his client’s needs. Other approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Grief counselling, and solution focused therapy.
