Experience:
Michelle is a highly skilled Provisional Psychologist. She has over 13 years experience working as a mental health counsellor and community educator. She graduated top of her class for her Psychology studies, winning the ‘Head of School’ academic award from Deakin University. Michelle has worked in a number of settings including government, private practice, not-for -profit and schools. Michelle is mature, skilled and highly ethical. She is committed to working collaboratively with her clients to achieve their goals. This is attained by conducting thorough assessments and providing evidence-based treatments in a warm and supportive environment.
Michelle’s key strengths are her interpersonal skills and life experience. She has worked in a corporate role, raised two children and now works in the psychology profession. She is warm and friendly, and understands the importance of building rapport with her clients in order to work together to make positive changes in their lives. In her free time she enjoys spending time playing tennis, reading and walking her dog.
